wooo... that was a long one and a half week of no blogging. busy as usual. thanks to our cell project. this cell project was not an easy one, given that it cuts across out enrichment week, SPIRE project and national day.

our group started of early just like mich's group, hoping to stand a chance to kick their ass this time round (lol). we had many meetings regarding on the information on both the cell and the singapore's government. between me and kenneth, we had two meetings over dinner only for linking the cell structure with the ministries. after 3 weeks, it was really getting down to business for us as we began working on the posters and kennneth working on the flash. though reg and jia was suppose to be in charge of the posters, i and kenneth also helped out by being manual labors and designing templates. as for my part, i only worked on the model two weeks before deadline. as the deadline was closing... problems arrived. 1. we had problems with the space that we have for the government board 2. joining the two cell boards 3. the cell organelles which is mostly not relative in size and the circuits running everywhere. i think this is the part where team spirit played an important role. even though we each had our own duties, but we tried as much as we can to work as a group to solve problems. one day before our deadline (thurs 3pm), that was the time where a "revolution" occured in the model. we are going to redo all the organelles except for the Rough ER. i thought this was impossible, given that i took such a long time to do the cell myself.

then at the point where i myself was pissed with the weak framework of the cell, miracle occured. three of them miraculously strengthened the whole framework by re-tieing the wires, a new set of wrapping for the cell, make a whole new nuclues, and a funny looking smooth ER with koped straws from the canteen (no offence jia..) all in just one and a half hour when i went down for PT. i was revitalised when i saw those stuff not to mention the cute looking lysosomes.

umm... so i went back home and started work at about 9pm. and thank you reg/kenneth/jia, of all things they packed, they forgot about tape. GREAT, so i had to run all the way to popular to get THREE rolls.

and it was burning midnight oil all the way till 4am. throughout that gruelling 7 hours, people opened convos to support and encourage each other. YES! thats the way 03! even at 3 am, people that were online like doris, jiahui and Xin Yuan (dunno why shes online doing maths at 3am ?!?!)

after 2 hours of sleep, it was a fresh new day with the spectacular and shining model done by the four of us. (to us lah... other groups also v nice)

Here, i would really thank the three of them for making the impossible, possible and being there at the most crucial and critical moment. and also apologies to reg and jiafang regarding some internal affairs... i hope that all of us can get A's. haha. umm.. what about mich's group??

thrash em'
